Early Days - EducationGeorgie Thompson was educated at Queenswood boarding school. She studied with now fellow television presenter and mate Natalie Pinkham. She took part in junior international tennis competitions and represented England. She then studied Broadcast Journalism at the University of Leeds, graduating with a 2:1 in 1999.

Later Days - CareerAfter graduating, Georgie Thompson worked as a production assistant on a research and production scheme for GMTV before moving to Sky Sports in January 2001.

She has covered many major sporting events for the network since then, including the US Open Tennis and has been part of Sky's coverage of the A1 Grand Prix, Grand Prix Masters, Speedway World Cup, Race of Champions and Americas Cup. She is a presenter on Sky Sports News, often presenting 'Afternoon Report' between the hours of 3pm and 7pm. She also presented Sky One's Greatest Sporting Legends with David Frost.
In the May 2007 issue of the British men's magazine FHM (for him magazine), Georgie was voted the 93rd Sexiest Woman in the World!
